I know. Seems like I just arrived. Brought here by something or someone. I think I came out the trap door.

Only one I know about. For a second as I was coming to it looked like it was open. Might have seen the thing's hand but it was dark. It closed before I had realized what I was looking at.

Oh man! I had no idea that's what happens down there.

I kind of feel bad now for whoever lives there. :( I guess they're here to help us if anything really bad happens to us.

I'm not gonna lie- I would like to keep the lantern knocking outness to a minimum from now on. Accidental or purposeful or otherwise.

But it's true, from what I've heard. Whoever they are, there's no guarantee it will always work. Those lights are important.

What kind of shields? They won't block the light?

Force fields! They're invisible so the light will be able to shine through no problem. :D

The problem is that I need you to be within my sight and stuff. And I can't do it too many times in a day. I've been testing my powers and there's super weird stuff happening to them. :(

Just curious is all. I've heard some of the creatures out there are aggressive. Wonder if your shields would hold up against them.

They should! Long as they don't, like, have modified ion cannons or something, my shield should be able to withstand most blows.

Been out once already and I'll be out more. Best to know our own surroundings, I figure. We'll be here a while.
